  • Ishmael: Reading Log Introduction, Chapters 5 and 6 (and 7?)
    • In your google docs, I shared a document with you called "Ishmael Reading Log"
    • Open this file and click on "file" "make a copy"- this will make a copy of the log on your drive called "Copy of Ishmael Reading Log"
    • Drag this file to your Ishmael folder
    • Rename document "Ishmael Reading Log" and start to fill it out!
  • Fill reading log out through chapter 4 IN CLASS
  • Homework: Finalize fever dream pieces, Be through Book 2 (pg. 27 ebook by class on TUESDAY- quiz!!!!)

Only through firsthand experience can people gain true knowledge and increase their understanding of the world in a meaningful way. Is learning through experience usually the best way to learn?   1. Students who have not shared a folder with me through google docs must see me when they are finished with their quiz!
  2. Google docs should be opened in FIREFOX so that you can upload documents properly
  3. When uploading a file to google docs, please make sure it is saved as a "Microsoft Word 97/2000" file so that it can be viewed in google docs- .odt files have to be downloaded.
  • Vocabulary 1 Quiz
  • Work on Fever Dreams (PWT- Protected Writing Time)- Start to organize your story into a beginning, middle, and end. Make paragraphs. Revise for better word choice. Make sure it flows. Add details and description where appropriate. What is your story lacking?
  • Homework: Fever Dream draft. Tomorrow your Fever Dream should be NO LESS than one page long and have a beginning, middle, and end to it. Your draft should be typed and uploaded to your google docs folder in a new folder called "Writings."
